Challenges:

• ⁠We are pleased to share that our participation has been increasing rapidly.

• ⁠New success is brining new challenges to us

• ⁠We have to keep improving to improve the satisfaction level among participants. 

• ⁠Most of the participants had been confirming and paying at the last moment.

• ⁠We can not pay advance and book venue, catering, DJ and other service providers.

Solution: Registration Fee 

• ⁠We introduced the Registration with dynamic fee structure to resolve these challenges.

• ⁠This will motivate early registrants as there is a less fee

• ⁠Give us some cash in hand to make payments to vendors

• Helps us to predict approximate number of participants

• This is risk reward model similar to many other commercial ticketing structure

Structure:

• ⁠This was already defined on meetup unfortunately many members are uncomfortable using this App.

• ⁠We collect registration fees from all members.

• ⁠Total fee collected is deducted from total expenditures.

• ⁠Remaining expenses are equally divided among all members.

• ⁠So final cost for each participants shall be Registration Fee plus equal share on expenditures.

• ⁠Final cost will be lowest for those who pay early.

Result: Women's Day Event

• ⁠Our first 15  registrations were done in few hours 

• ⁠We had 40 Registrations with in first 2 days 

• ⁠Now this gives and confidence that we will be achieve a target of 60 certainly

• ⁠Will pay advance to different vendors without any personal ricks on Admins

Terms: 

• ⁠This fee is not transferable

• ⁠This is not refundable 

• ⁠To be used for the same event only

Event Admin Role:

• ⁠TS is not a group, we are platform to facilitates your event needs.

• ⁠We make several admins so that they keep approving new members and being experienced help us in logistics.

Some members have conflicts between them, we request you to resolve them out of TS platform. Or any thing arising because of our events, please discuss in a close group.

Not expecting you to “dry dirty laundry in the open”. Other members have no interest

Conclusion: 

• ⁠We understand some of us are unable to decide well in advance.

• ⁠We understand some of us paying more registration fee and event is costing more 

• ⁠Some of us are not comfortable reading details on MMeetup, they expect an answer in the group itself. 

• ⁠We admins & organizers are unable to reply basic questions on chat as this will create lots of confusion, need more time to handle such queries and this will clutter the group.
